t- Tkmmbancb Mkkting. — At Temuka on Wednesday evening the Eev P. E. Monro, of Bangiora, delivered an address on the temperance question. The Eev Mr Standage occupied the chair. The followiog resolution waß paimea, on the motwn of the Bey Mr Dickson— " That thia meeting, after consideration of the amendments to the existing Licensing Act proposed by the New Zealand Alliance and by the League conventions held in Dun€din and Cbristchurch m the month of April last, heartily approves of these amendments, and urgeß the member for this electorate to do hia utmoat to secure that they shall become law during the session of 1895."
