SIR GEORGE GREY AS PROPHET.
At the recent meeting in Wellington to arrange for presenting an address to the Hon R. J. Seddon, on the fiftieth anniversary of his birth, a letter waa read from Mr W. Harker, of Christchurch, who wrote: — "Eleven years ogo Sir George Grey, in the House, pointed out Mr Seddon to me, with this remark: 'Mark my words, Mr Harker, that man will be Premier of New Zealand one day/ He is. Kindly fix my name to the proposed congratulatory address."
