At the District Court to-day George Storey, Postal officer, pleaded guilty to opening a letter whioh • was being passed through the Palmerston offioe, and was remanded for the report ... of the Probation Officer. . Andrew F. Laurenson. building contractor, was found guilty of a breach of the Bankruptcy Aot in ■ failing to keep proper books, and was admitted to probation.
