THE TICHBORNE CASE.
[ Special to Fekss Association.]
LONDON, Mat 31. The People, states that Orton's knowledge of the Tichborne family was obtained from Bogle, in Sydney. When at Sydney the claimant intended to raise all the money possible, slip away to California, and there lose his identity, as he feared to proceed with the imposition. When he reached Panama he found that he could not evade the cariosity of his fellow passengers, and, consequently, had to go on to England. Interesting details are given of his first interview with Lady Tichborne.
STDNET, June 1.
Jean Louie haß sworn an affidavit, containing an amplification of the confession made in December, in which he declares emphatically that the inmate of the Parramatta Asylum is Tichborhe. He also states that Orton told him he was a mate of Tichborne's for years in Australia, and that from him he obtained the history of the Tichborne family.
