At the instance of his Government tbe;Hou Jt ft. Ward is inviting tenders for the construction of a cable steamer for. New Zealand/ She is to have a speed of fourteen knots/ and will be built under the guidance of Mr W. H. JPreeee, the well-known electrician. The vessel will probably cost £25,000.
