A WILL CASE.

At Wellington, on Tuesday, his Honor the Chief Justice delivered judgment in a Wanganui will case. The sum involved was about £4000, under the will of the late James Prisk. The teßtator made two wills. Under the first his wife was a beneficiary. The second he made to revoke the first, under the delusion that his wife was poisoning him. The suit was to settle the validity of the Becond will. Mrs Priak claimed under the first, and the Public Trustee brought the suit to maintain the second. His Honor found that the second will was invalid, as the deceased was suffering from delusional insanity when he made it, and subsequently, one form of the delusion being that his wife, who deßired to have him placed in an asylum, was administering poison. His Honor found that Mrs Priakhad conducted herself with propriety, and that deceased's accusations were the result of brain disease, under the influence of which he made the second will.
