Redwood presided, it was decided to submit the following three names for the consideration of the Holy See in the matter of the vacant bishopric :— Eev W» Burke, Queenstown, dignisßimus; Very Eev P. O'Leaiy, Lawrence, dignior ; Rev IM. Walsh, Biverton, dignus. The Arch- • bishop liaß confirmed the appointment of the Vtiry Revs Fathers Lynch (Dunedin) and Mackay (Oamaru) as joint administrators. Bishop Moran by will left everything, save a few trifling bequests, to hi» ■ successor.
