Lyttelton Musical Society.— A meetingot this Society was held on Monday evening, when it was decided to stage the opera Pirates of Penzance. The following officers I were elected -.—Conductor, Mr G. E. Collins; secretary, Mr C. S. Clarke; committee, Messrs Ewenßon, Galbraith.R. W. Arnold, Bateß, Hay and Bethune; accompanist, Miss O'Brien.
