The tone of a letter from the honorary medical staff, referring to the past management of the Auokland Hospital, is strongly resented by the Board, whioh resolved thac the staff should be requested to withdraw the letter. j
The Charitable Aid Board decided' to suid a deputation that approached it on the question of erecting a night shelter for outcasts. .;.',■ ,#•. \
An English syndicate is seeking to acquire the Freeman's Bay reclamation. The Harbour Board refnsed to entertain a proposal to sell it.
