OBITUARY.

| The death of Dr Robert Pish, of Geraldine, took place on Sunday evening: last. He was taken ill on Thursday and on I Friday his illness wbb of so serious a nature that four doctors were attending him. On the afternoon of that day he became unconscious, remaining in that condition till his death. He was an old resident in the district, and was much esteemed by all classes of the community. For many years past he had taken an active part in connection with the local institutions, and was churchwarden and one of the lay readers at Sfc Mary's Anglican Church. His funeral, which will take place to-day, will be followed by the memberc of the Viotoria Lodge of Oddfellows, A.C., of which he had been Lodge doctor since its establishment in the township, and also by the Geraldine Lodge of Freemasons, of which also he was a member. The sympathy of the whole district is extended to his widow and family.
