Ward to visit Ottawa to discuss matters of general interest as between Canada and New Zealand. Mr Ward has accepted the invitation conditionally on his engagements permitting it. The Hon J. G. "Ward informed the Colonial Party 0 E the House of Commons that New Zealand desired a naval station, in view of the results of the Japanese war. Sir Charles Dilke considered tbat the station in Sydney was sufficient.
