The tuatch Richmond v. Sydenbam Third, played on tho Richmond Domain, resulted in an easy win for Richmond by thirty points to nil. Gaze scored three triefe, Brown two, Pentecost two and Shaw one. Brockett kicked three goals.
Albion Second defeated Merivale Third by seventeen points to nil. Bursoa (2), Bridges, Hendy and Ogier scored for tbe winners, Craddock converting one of the 1 1*168 Tho match Christchucch Third v. New Brighton ended in a draw, neither side scoring. , . Papanui beat Kaiapoi Third, at Kaiapoi, by five points to ml. Sb Albans won their match against Pirates Second by default. Linwood Third beat the Southern A Team on the latter'u ground by twenty points to three. Maddren scored three tries for the winners, M'Lefaaban potted a 2oal and H. Dunnage placed two goals from tries and one from a penalty.
The Young Men's Christian Association defeated the Southern B by five points to nothing after a very faßt game. "*

la the senior football matches yesterday, Petone beat Wellington by nine to nil, and the Athletics defeated Melroso by three to nil.
DUNEDIN, May 11. The senior championship football matches were commenced to-day. Albatnbra v. Union resulted in a draw (three points each), owing to a mistake by the referee. Zingari beat Pirates by eit?ht points to nil. Dunedin and 'Varsity played a drawn game, each scoring six points.
