Foreign houses, especially Euesian, are making heavy purchase?. A consignment ex Eiderslie, from Australia, realised 9}l per lb. LONDON, Mat 12. Tallow— Medium muttcn 22s Gd, medium beef 21s. The ErgMsh wheit market baß an upward tendency, the cutinental is firm, and the American is changing a little for the worse. Up to dale 149,000 bales of wool have been catalogued, of which 123,600 bales wera cold. Representatives of British firms are' buying extensively. Australian scoured wools show a fall. Woolled merino sheepskins are -J-i to'^l higher. j
