THE NATIVE TROUBLE.
A correspondent telegraphing from Botorua eayg : — Inspector Etnereon, Sergeant Lyons and six men are keeping everything quiet at Wnarinaki, where the co-operative men are forming roads rapidly through Urewera at the rate of two miles a day. Inspector Emeraon is forming a mail service by two mounted constables from Te Whaiti to Rotorua. Mr Phillips, surveyor, has gone to the native meeting at Te Whsiti.
