GRAIN AND PRODUCE.
In the grain market there is little fresh to notice. Most lines are unaltered, and prices ar© without quotable change. Wheat continues extremely firm, end holders do not r:re to sell at less than full rates.-
■\Vnrs.iT.— Prices range between 2s7dand 2s fed tor Pearl, 2s 7d for Tuscan, and 2s s£d to 2s 6d for Hunter's, Holders are shy of quoting for large parcels. Oat3. — Prime milling oats are worth ls 4£d or a shade more for an exceptionally good sample. Duns are worth ls ld to ls 3d; "pure Tartars fit for seed and black, Is 3-Jd to Is 4d ; inferior and thin are difficult to sell at ls ld to ls 2d. Por good lines of Duna and stout feed the market is a shade stiffen
Baelet is without demand. Second quality 2s 3d to 2s 6d. Cape is without inquiry at Is 6d to ls 9d. Beans are extremely difficult to sell, and sellers are disinclined to accept prices offering. Values are ls lld to 2s. Psas. — No improvement can be noted in the demand. Blue Prussian are worth 2s to 2s 2d, Partridge 2s, other feed sorts ls lOd to 2s.
Rxecobn. — Nominally worth ls 6d to 2s. Flour.— Millers have raised prices,. and now quote :— Roller £7 10a, stone £7, Oatmeal -.£B 5s to £8 10a. Potatoes.— lsa to 17s 6d at country stations. Market stagnant.
Gbass Seed. — Nothing doing in ryegrass ; cocksfoot is equally quiet. Clover Seed.— Cowgraes, extra choice, is worth 6d, good ordinary ssd to 5f d.
Onions are worth 85s to 955, sacks included.
Btjtteb still continues in fair snpply • factory make is worth 8d to 9d, dairy 6d to7*d. Cbebsb B£d to 4d, small loaf-shape 4£d. Chaff — Oatsheaf 82s 6d at country stations.
