Band of Hope. — The annual meeting.of tbe Sydenha«a Presbyterian Church Band of Hops was Keld on Friday evening. Mr Waddell (vice-president) osonpied thei chair. The annual report and balancesheet were adopted. A new code of rulep, which had been drawn up by a aubcommittee, was also adopted. The election of officers for the ensuing session resulted m follows:— President, Mr C. Smith; vice-presidents, Mies Mann and Mr Black; treasurer, Miss A. Waddell ; secretary, Mr C. B. Donaldson j organist, Misa T. Meikleham ; registrars, Mias S. M'Dowall and Mr G. M'Kay; Executive Committee, Misßes Campbell and Allison and Messrs Lavender and Beid. A trio was sung by Afisseß Waddell, Meikleham and M*'Do wall. A hearty vote of thanks was accorded to Mr Waddell for his servicea during the pastseaeon. / "
