The four-rink match which took place on Saturday afternoon on the green of, the Christchurch Bowling Club, between that club and the Canterbury Bowling Club, excited considerable interest. In the fiverink matches that have been played this Beason the senior club has generally had the advantage, but it was thought probable that on four rinks tho , Canterbury men might prove victorious. The result was, however, a win for the Chiiatchurch Club by tho large majority of 37 points. The victory was, to a great extent, duo to the result at No. 4 rink, where the Christchurch men made 35 to their opponents' 13.
