Mr Alfred Nathan haß received a message from his brother, Mr L. D. Nathan, in London, apprising, him of the fact that he had effected the purchase of the stallion Seaton de Laval, a son of Melton and Eoaedale. Seaton do Laval /was foaled in 1889. Seaton de Laval was purchased as a yearling by the Duke of .Portland for 760gs. He is to be shipped to Auckland at an early date. ; •;, . i
