CURIOUS WEDDING.

A curious wedding took place at Bomford Abbey Church, both parties being deaf and dumb. A clergyman, with the asaistanoe of the bride's brother, who acted as interpreter, performed the ceremony. Prayer-books wore placed in the hands of the bride and bridegroom, and each made signs by pointing as the passages were read. When responses were required to the vital and binding questions, the parts were submitted in writing and read and duly signed and witnessed. These doonments will bs kept in the Abbey as mementos of the wedding.
