WELLINGTON, April 29.
All the southern horses engaged at the autumn meeting arrived this afternoon. The majority of the North Island candidates came last night, and those from the west coast of the South Island have been here some days. It is understood that the Licensing Committee of Wellington Snburbs has refused a license for a publican's booth on the couree. The racehorses Aldershot, Roaeguard, Vogengang, Norton, Au Eevoir, Lady Zetland and Saracen were shipped by the steamer Penguin, for Wellington, on Saturday night.
