The Lyttelton Bowing Club's crew for the Championship Begatta left Fort last night in ttao Takapuaa. The Union Rowing Club's representatives for the Championship and Welling* ton Regattas left Lyttelton by the Tarawera laet evening. Mes.-rs Croebie, Samuels, G. H. Hobbs, G. Berry and F. Trenchard (cox) will represent the Club in the Champion Fours at Picton and the Senior Fours at Wellington, and Messrs Croabie and Samuels in the Champion Pairs and Double Sculls at Pioton, and in the Senior Pairs and Double Sculls at W> -liugton. The Captain, Deputy-Captain, Secretary and several other members of tbo Club went by the same steamer. The Canterbury Bowing Club's team will leave by the Te Anau thiß afterndon to compete at Picton and Wellington next week. The crews are as follow: — Senior Fours— E. M. Boulton bow, 10*t 91b: F. W. Hobbs 2; 12st; A. F. Nicoll 3, 12at 21b; J. Y. Daly stroke, list 81b. Senior Pairs— -N. L. Macbeth bow, lOat 71b ; J. Y. Daly stroke. Junior Fours— A. F. de Yeauz bow, 9st 101 b; H. Hobbß 2, list 51b; P. B. Morriß 8, list 91b, and F. W. Johneton stroke, 9st 71b. The men are all in first-class condition, and from the form they have been displaying on the river should prove themselves well able to uphold the high reputation of the Canterbury Bowing Club. Taylor Sat 41b journeys with the crews as coxswain, and E. D. Bees, the well-known boat-builder, will travel in charge of the racing boats. The four-oared crewa are admirably boated. They will row in aJ. H. Clasper, imported this season.
