BANDER * SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTEACT — Under the distinguished patronage of His Majesty the King of Italy, as per communication made by the Minister for Foroitm Affairs, through the Consul-Gonerol for Italy at Melbourne, March 14, 1878. Awarded Dioloma at tho Amsterdon Exhibition, 1883, Acknowledged by Medical Clinics and Universities all over the globe. There are imitations of Eucalypti Extract in the market, products of simple distillation, forminscrude resinous oils. In order that these crude oils may not bo taken for our Pure Volatile Eucalypti Extraot, which is reooj?nisod by tho medical division of the Prussian Government to be of perfeotly pure origin, as per information forwarded to us through the Consul at Melbourne, March 2. 1878 we state:— it is proved by tests made by the Medical Clinics of the Universities at Bonn and Greif swald (Prussia), and reported by Dr Shulz, Professor of Pharmacology at Bonn, and Professor Dr Mosler. Direotor of the Medical Clinio at Qroifswald, that only produots that are saturated with oxygen and free of acids, resinous and other substances, adherent to primary distilla tion, will develop tho sanative qualities prouer to the plant. All crude oil, or so-oaUed Eucalypti Bxtraots are to bo olassed according to the named authorities among tho turpentines which are of insignificant medioinal value, and abandoned lone since as an internal medicament. These crude oils, or 80-called Eucalypti Extraots, are disoernible— 1, By their deflcionoyin pungent odour (whioh our product, the only genuine Eucalypti Ex. traot, develops most freely through ita surplus of oxygen), 2. By their alooholio, thia, and mobile appearance being reducod in speoiflo density through the presence of acids. B, By their taste, the result of the contraofcine tendenoy of resins and tanats. If theße cruie oils, or eo-oalled Euoalypfi Ex. traots, are applied by mistake in oases of croup, bronchitis, diphtheria, internal inflammations, dysentery, &0., the consequences are moat appalling. For safety's sake ask always for Sander and Sons' Eucalypti Extraot.— Sandhurst Victoria Außtralifl.-SANDEB & SONS.
