Gbbaldine Floral Society.— Despite , the wet weather on Thursday, the ninth show of the Geraldine Floral, Horticultural and Industrial Association was as successful under the circumstances aB could have been expected. The exhibits of fruit | and vegetables were remarkably fine, but the cut flowers were not so good. Messrs Nairn and Sone, of Christchurch, had a ■ splendid show of cut flowers, for exhibiI tion only.
