Orders by poat will receive prompt attention. — [Advt.] Sydenham Baptist Church. — Yesterday afternoon the sacred cantata, The Wise Men, was given in the Sydenham Baptist Church by the members of the church choir, assisted by some friends and an orchestra. There was a large attendance, the church beiilg crowded. The soloists were Mrs Shirlaw, Miss Wataon, and Mr Maurice. Miss Bonnington acted as organist and Mr Terry conducted. The proceeds will be devoted to the choir fund.
