MrT. E. Cresswell oooupied the Chair, being supported on Mb right by Messrs W. Walton and E. Speight, and on his left by Messrs C. E. Bevan-Brown and B. K. S. Lawrence. There was an attendance of about thirty old boys* a number of whom had come from a distance to take part in the proceedings. . The following toasts were proposed and duly honoured :—" The Queen " and " Many Happy Returns of the Day," ' by the Chairman, the latter toast being reponded to by Messrs J. Watt and W. H. Dawson; "Ye Salad Daya/' proposed by Mr A. B. Kirk, and responded toby Messrs Bevan-Brown, Lawrence and Walton; "V» Old BoyB," proposed by Mr B. Speight, and responded to by Messrs F. Wilkinson and G. Scott; " Ye Old Girls/* proposed by Mr T. W. Beese, and ro* sponded to by MrE. Norris; " YePrtta Gang," proposed by Mr T. Buntin; and •' The Chairman," proposed by Mr Bev&nBrown. Some capital songs were well aung by Messrs Bevan-Brown, G. Scott, T. B. Cresswell, C. H. Partridge, T. W. Reese, : W. Wilkinson, A. B. Kirk and Sandstein. The gathering was brought to a close with the singing of "Auld Lang Syne/* and hißty cheers for the masters of the Boys* High Sohool and the Association. . W.
