The Australian Team. [Special to Pbbss Association.! ' WASHINGTON, Oct. 12. Eighteen of Boston scored 88 against the Australians. Keen made 14. Giffen took seven wickets for 31, and Trofct eight for 19. The Australians, who played twelve men, were all out for 65 j Trott 22, W. Giffen & ASHLEY COUNTY v. AMUBI COUNTY. The first match of the season between these Clubs was played at Culverden on Wednesday and Thursday, and resulted in the defeat of the visitors by bix wickets. The game was moat pleasant, but was interfered with by rain on the second day.
