Sydenham Poultry, Pigeon and Canary Society.

! The twelfth annual general meeting of members of the Sydenham Poultry, Pigeon and Canary Society was held at the Club Hotel, Sydenham, laßt evening. There was a good attendance, and Mr A. L. Myers, Vice-President, occupied the chair. The Committee, in the annual report, congratulated the Society on the success which, had attended its efforts daring the past year, The annual show was the most successful ever held by the Society. The number of members on the roll was thirty-eight. The balance-sheet showed the receipts to have amounted to .£240 12s 5d and the expenditure to J6217 9s Bd, which, after paying off the previous year's debit balance, left a net profit of £16 16s 5d on the year's work. On ihe motion of Mr Lafferty, seconded by Mr A. Fraser, the report and balance-Bheet were unanimously adopted.
