Yesterday morning it was reported to Constable Stunner by a.lad named Glad- ' . ville that lie had seen (whilst bathing near the pier at New Brighton) a body floating towards Sumner. One of the meu working on the pier said that on Monday last he saw BOtaething like a body floating towardsr the north. Constable Stunner and. Trooper Kelso searched the beach, but found nothing. ,
