[Peb Pbbss Association.! WELLINGTON, Oct. 2. The New Zealand Rugby Union is holding a meeting to discuss the question of an Australasian Union in view of the Secretary being about to visit Sydney. Haborn won the cross-country race of the Amateur Athletic Club, with 130secB start, over a two-and-a-half-mile course. Morpeth, the scratch man, was fourth, three hundred yards away. Since the beginning of the year there have been forty-one bankruptcies, against thirty-eight , for a similar period laßt year. This, however, does not include several considerable assignments of estates.
