WELLINGTON, August 2. "It haß-been decided that the footballers shall be^meton^ their arrival and, eacorted td^oue'Vf t£e city haljs, whet i e'"th6 Governor will be asked to formally welcome them on their return from a victorious tour. In the evening a grand "social" will be held.
The return match between Christ's College and a team selected from the Christchurch Post and Telegraph Departments, was played on the College ground yesterday afternoon, and resulted in a win for the College by twenty points (four goals from tries) to eight points (four tries). The following will represent the various Clubs in their matches on Saturday : —
