The Australian Team. [Special to Press Association.] LONDON August 1. The attendance at the oricket match was very large and the weather was fine, the wicket being in excellent condition. The Australians have lost eight wickets for 805 runs. Bruce was dismissed after scoring 191. Trumble scored 105, and Turner and Walter Giffen are both not out with 56 and 40 respectively. Bannerman was at the wickets for six hours, and in the latter part of the innings only gave one chance. His score included fourteen fours and eight threes. Graham played somewhat recklessly, hot his partnership with Bannerman added 136 runs. Bruce hit brilliantly, but gave some chances ; he had twenty-three fours to hie credit. Trumble knocked the bowling all over the field, and scored twelve boundary hits. | Turner and Walter Giffen both punished the worn-out bowling, and just on the stroke of time for drawing the Btumps for the day they had, with a Bcore of 805 for eight wiokets, beaten the world's record. Ten bowlers were tried to-day, and thirty-, eight changes were made. The bowling of Bambridge and Wilson yielded 506 rnns. *. LONDON, August 2. ! The Australians were all out for 843 ; Turner 66, W.
