Od_fe__owship. — The regular fortnightly meeting of the Loyal Addington Ledge was held last evening in the hall, Lincoln road, when there was a large attendance of members and visitors, N.G. Bro A. L. Gourlay prasiding. The sick visitors reported that there were no claims upon the funds. Two memberß were admitted by clearance, and one candidate waa elected and initiated, P.G. Bro Alpe and G.M. Bro Orange acting as conductors. The trustees were instructed to invest the 6um of £100. Lecture Master P.G. Bro Kinsman gave a lecture on the white degree. Sentiments were given by G.M. Bro Orange, Perseverance Lodge, G.M. Bro Carey and V.G. Bro Patterson. P.P.G.M. Bro J. A. Clarke and P.G. Bro Kinsman were appointed delegates to attend the meeting to make arrangements for a Morris -tube match, for a trophy presented J by the Mayor of Christchurch. It was j decided to hold a " social " in the first week in September* G.M. Bro Orange responded on behalf of the Third Sentiment. The Lodge was closed in due form by the N.G.
