The Australian Team, [Spkcial to Pbesb Association.] LONDON, JOIT 23. Flay in the Somersetshire match was resumed yesterday, the Australians being got rid of for 106. Bannerman scored 21 and Giffen 36. Woods took six wickets for 26 runs, and Nichols two for 22. Somersetshire in the second innings made only 64, Fowler being top scorer with 17. Turner secured seven wickets | for 26 runs, and Trumble two for 24. The Australians in the Becond innings knocked up 78 for the loss of four wickets, and thus won the match by six wickets and 2 runs. Turner was almost unplay- j able on the sticky wicket. The fielding of the visitors was brilliant throughout. 3jATER. In the County match Kent beat Surrey by 22 runs after an exciting game.
