1 • ' r [Per Press Association.] AUCKLAND, Apbil 10. 1 Th<* body of George Clarke, Inspector of 3 the Permanent Way of the Mercer and i Mokau railway line, who has been missing since April 2, was recovered in the Waikato river yesterday. Mr Clarke had been ■ in the Government service eighteen years, and was transferred from Otago to HamVi--6 ton in August last. His life was insured ,1 in the GaYern.ment Office for .£l5O.
