The wake scene and, abo>that in which he represents the escaped conviot, evoked; aeaity applause. Mr Collet Dobaon a& Captain Molineaas, had a part that suitedj Mm excellently and he played it with, every attention, to. derail and dignity. Mt> Walter Medus as> Harvey Duff, Mr W. E» JermynasCorsy, aasd Mr Ciemer as Father Doolan, gave ve&y oaadi table representations of the charagters entrusted to them, but the make up of the parish priest was capable of considerable improvement. Miss Idxene Thornton. a» Claire Ffolliot had ap^rt that suited hac misoh better than any of her previou^^Jes, and the audience freely and cordially appreciated her acting. Mies Fanny Wiseman as Moya, Con's sweethear^ "was as coy and canny as the part required her to be, and Bhe xeoeived her share of the honours of the evening.
