SaliVAtion Army.— -A aeries of special meetings in connection with the annual harvest festival was commenced on Saturday night last in the Salvation Army's Victoria street barracks, and concluded last night with a tea meeting, followed by a demonstration and sale of produce. The meetings were conducted by Major Vince, assisted by a number of the. headquarters staff and other officers. Ae the Major is under orders to leave Christohurch, a large number of people attended the meetings on Sunday to listen to the addresses delivered by him.
