TARANAKI JOCKEY CLUB.
NEW PLYMOUTH, Fbb. 25. The Becond day's races of the autumn meeting of the Taranaki Jockey Club were held to-day in- a continuous downpour of rain. .The attendance was small. The following are results : — Grand Stand Handicap, of 80 sots ; seven furlongs— Eebellion, Batl2lb, 1; Krina, Bafc 2!b,.,2; Siriua^Gat Blb, 3. The other starters were 'Frate^nite,' Bangipuhi, Tit, Prioress and Cyrus. Eebellion led all the way, and won by half a length.. Time— lmin 37^aec. Dividend, £6 7s. Second Handicap Hurdle Eace of 75 fiova ; about two miles— Tattler, 1 ; Songster, 2. Mareohal Neil was the, only other starter. Won by a length. Time— 4min 12aec. Dividend. M 10a. .Autumn Handicap of 150' soys; one mile and: a quarter— Musket, 6st 101 b, 1; Boulanger, Babl2lb, 2; Eangipuhi,7st9lb, 3. Musket led all the way and won by five lengths. Time— 2min 22aee. Dividend, £7 129. Shorts Handicap, of 50 soys ; five furlongs — Siriuß.l; Eve, 2; Snapcap, 3. Won by two lengths. Dividend, £5 13s. Farewell Handicap, of 40 soys; one mile— Tit,. 1,; Siriuo, 2 j Durus, 3. Tit led from start to finish. Dividend, JBB. . ( ,
