• [Per Press Association.! WELLINGTON, Feb. 20. Mr M'Kay, of the Labour Bureau, reports on the proposed State farm at Otahakapua, forty-three miles north of Feilding :— The quality of the soil is good and fertile ; about 180 acres are open laud fit for the plough, the rest is wooded hills.' The Government is receiving numerous applications for the land on the Cheviot Estate.
