SHIPS WRECKED.
•— [Special to Pbess Association.] SYDNEY, Feb. 20. The captain of the Auckland trader Jessie, which was wrecked at Long Mand, has arrived here, and reports that they had to land through a terrible surf. The vortex of a cyclone approaching the vessel rendered this course necessary in order to save life. The jetty was demolished, and a number of houses were completely blown away. The barquentine Bluster, bound for Port Chalmers, went ashore in a gale at Woolgoolga. The crew, are safe.
