Oba^tgbism.— The usual monthly meeting of the Star of Sydenham Lodge, No. 32, was held in the St Saviour's schoolroom on Tuesday evening, the W. Master, Bro A. Bleach, presiding. After the ordinary business had been concluded the room was opened to visitors, to hear a paper read by Bro J. T. Smith, P.D.M., entitled "The Evangelical Revival of the Eighteenth Century and its Eesults." Several of the brethren . discussed the paper and the lessonß it conveyed. Hearty votea of thanks were accorded to Bro Simith for his paper, and to the visiting brethren. Bioa H. Kennedy, W.M. (NoM) ; J. Middleion, D.M, (No, 24); J. Ballantyne, D.M., and Anderson (No. 33)'; 6. Stewart'(No.-36)---and R. Irwin (No. 1,- Brisbane), -replied and also spoke to thY paper! The Lodge wae then closed by theW.M.
