[Per Pkess Association.] AUCKLAND, Aov. 1. A workman named Dennis Mahoney, employed at Messrs M'Lean and Sons' railway contract at Rotorua, has been killed by a fall of earth, which broke his neck. His wife and three children live in Aucklfmd.
At inquest wa3 held at; Mayfield on Monday, before Mr A. Harrison, actingCoroner, touching the death of an infant child of Mr W. Dellow. The- evidence of Dr Leahy showed that death had been due to acute bronchitis and inflammation of the lungs, and a verdict in accordance with the medical testimony was returned.
