Mr Grover Cleveland, the Demo* ! era tic nominee for the Presidentship,
■ considers the United States tariff is unjustly building up fortunes by robbing the farmers and increasing _ the cost of living for the artisans. \ This he declares to be unpatriotic. The Committee of Congress reports ■ that since the M 'Kinley tariff came into force articles of consumption in daily life have been sold at over 3 per cent lower, while products have , averaged 18 per cent higher, and wages are 77 per cent above the British standard. } NEW YORK, July 21.
