England 236 '.Vales 2 Scotland 11 Ireland 19 Total 268 UNIONISTS. England • 32 Scotland 10 Ireland 4 Total 46 GLADSTONIAN LIBERALS. England 196 Wales 28 Scotland 51 Total 275 NATIONALISTS. England ... 1 Ireland 71 Total 72 PABNBLLITES. Ireland 9 [At the general election in August, 1886, the results were as follow : — Liberal '• Unionists 77, Gladstonian Liberals 192, i Conservatives 316, Parnellites 85.] This gives tho Conservatives and Unionists 314, the Liberals and Irish' Home Rulers 356, and the majority for Mr Gladstone 42. South Tip. perary is reckoned in this calculation as Nationalist and Orkney as G-lad-stonian-Liberal. The Times says tbe opponents of Home Eule are determined that there shall be another appeal to the country before Home Eule is allowed.
