Confession of Arson.
[Psb Pbesb Association.! WANGANUI, Oct. 15. A prisoner named Kenny, convicted of arson at the last sittings of the Supreme Court, confessed to a gaoler this morning that while in a state of frenzy he had set fire to the Commercial Hotel. He tried to put the fire out as soon as the deed was done, but found he could not. He expressed sorrow for those he had injured.
