I The annual meeting of the Geraldine j j Licensing Committee was held in the Court- | I house,yesterday; present — MesersA. White i j (Chairman), H. B. Webster, F. W. Worner, j i and J. Riordan. The Inspector's report on { the licensed houses within the district was read and considered. The Inspector dwelt chiefly on the prevalence of Sunday j trading and the keeping of houses open after 11 p.m. After some consideration, renewals I wero granted as follows, on condition that the provisions of tho Licensing Act in these respects were adhered to:— Esther Holloway, Bush Hotel; John Parrell, Crown Hotel ; A. W. Post, Geraldine j Hotel.
