SPORTING.
Wellington Racing Club. [Per Press Association. I WELLINGTON, Junh 4.. The Wellington Eacing Club has chosen Mr H. D. Bell as President, in place of the late Sir W. Fitzherbert. The VicePresidents are Messrs Duthie, M.H.E., and T. G. Macarthy. Another alteration has been made in the date of the Spring Meeting. The Agricultural Association thought they would jsjet a better entry if the show were held immediately after the Christchurch Show ; and the Eacing Club has agreed to give them the use of its grounds during the week beginning Nov. 16. The Spring Meeting will consequently be put off till the dates originally fixed — Nov. 28 and 30.
