Pkime Mutton.— Some very prime sheep ware sold at the Addington market yesterday, and the price for the beßt continued firm throughout the salo. The best framed cheep were some sent in by Mr James Little, of Allandale, Waikari, which brought 19s 9d a head. These are the progeny of cross-bred rams from Mr Little's ewe flock. This Bystem of breeding was adopted by Mr Little some years ago, and its result has been highly satisfactory. The sheep make not only very fine mutton, but their wool has commanded the highest price in this market for some years past. The backbreeding system ia now becoming popular with numbers of sheepowners, though it was for a length of time objected to on the ground of being impracticable. Aa a further proof of itß success, the skins oE these sheep at their last sale commanded 6d apiece more than those of any other butchers' skins. Some three-quarter-bred wethers sold by the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company for Mr John Gunn brought 24s 6d, the highest price paid this season. They are very largeframed sheep, not bo fat or shapely as the previous lot, but thoroughly prime mutton. If you want the beßt value for your money buy Ninian Eyalop and Co.'s " Imperial" Teas. X3&
