I Pkb Pbkbs Association.! WELLINGTON, June 2. In the Supreme Court Johanna Josepha Innger was acquitted on a charge of sheep stealing at Eketahuna. In the cases of Charles H. Trainor, larceny at Palmereton North, and Walter Partridge, burglary in Wellington, his Honor thought, from the depositions, there was no prospect of the jury convicting, and the accused were discharged. The Crown Prosecutor, instructed >bj the Government, will oppose the application for a Bpecial jury in the case of Ooleman Phillips, charged with a breachr ' .Ahe provisions of the Land Act. DUNEDIN, June 1. At the Supreme Court to-day, George Barnett/ charged with horse-atealing, was acquitted. Only one case now remaius on the list. - : . -•'- ■
