THE lONIC
» Mr P. Cunningham, representing the Shaw, Savill and Albion Company, has received a cable dated London, June 1, in connection with that Company's business. He feels quite certain that had the lonic been overdue at Eio the message received by him would have mentioned the fact. It not unfrequently happens that the arrival of steamers at Bio is not recorded— the Tainui, for instance, on her last voyage to London was not reported , from Bio.
