Thubsday, May 28. (Before C. A. Wray, Esq., R.M.) Police v. Stkwaet Huston.— ln tbia. case Mr Huston, the father of the accused, appeared, and explained thathe had not been able to find hia son, and that he waa prepared to make reßtitution, if necessary. The case waa adjournedCharge Against a Constable.--**' Constable Smart was charged, on four informations, signed by Inapeotor Pender, in consequence of a complaint made by theAshburton Racing Club to the Sergeant in charge of (he Ashburton distriot. This caEe was adjourned for a week.
